Changes to Membership fees for 2020
With the increasing need to cover expenses, SACA will be voting to increase membership fees from $50 per member to $75. This will help us to offset the changes to the CCP course revenue structure that reduces the amount of money that SACA can generate each year. This will also to help us to offset the cost for our luncheons. This new membership fee is still well below the membership rates of Houston Compensation & Benefits ($95), North Texas Compensation Association ($125), and slightly above Central Texas Compensation and Benefits Association's ($65) basic membership rates. This allows you to get the discounted rates to the CCP courses, association luncheons reduced rates and and access to membership sponsored events. Look out for our voting pole within the next couple of days.
Changes to Luncheon fees for 2020
SACA will also be voting to increase the luncheon fees from $20 per member to $25 and increase the non-member rate to $35 to help us to offset the cost of event overhead. This will allow SACA to continue to bring in great speakers and topics. This will be included in the voting pole as well.
New Board Positions for 2020
SACA will also be requesting changes to the by-laws in order to create two new board positions:
Vice President of Communication. This position will be separate this position from Membership and will focus specifically on communications with members, WorldatWork and other local associations.
Vice President/Secretary, Government Affairs and SACA Policy/Compliance. This position will focus on documenting our board meetings along with two other areas, Government Affairs and Internal Policy and Compliance.
